Rochester Winery is owned by the De Wet family in Robertson, South Africa.

Winemaking and viticulture are the family passions which dates back to 1697 when the first De Wet settler in South Africa was appointed cellarmaster of the Dutch East India Company.

TASTING NOTES: 

Deep crimson red in the glass. 

Black cherry, liquorice and vanilla on the nose with soft spice following through to the palate.

Smooth, soft tannins with a peppery backdrop.


WINERY LOCATION: River Valley, Westen Cape, South Africa

AGING: Matured in French and American Oak for 9 months. 

SERVING ADVICE:   

Open your bottle at least an hour before serving so the wine can air out and every layer of flavor can open up.
